Find answers to common questions about Sermon Brief.
General Questions
Sermon Brief is an AI-powered sermon preparation tool that generates comprehensive preaching briefs from any Bible passage. Each brief provides theological perspectives, sermon outlines, application questions, and more to help pastors and teachers prepare sermons more efficiently.
When you submit a passage, our AI analyzes the text and generates insights drawing from 38 different theological frameworks - from Augustine to N.T. Wright. The result is a multi-perspective brief that gives you diverse viewpoints to consider in your preparation.
No. Sermon Brief is designed to enhance your study, not replace it. Think of it as having a team of theological advisors providing initial insights and perspectives. Your pastoral experience, personal study, and connection with your congregation remain essential.
The perspectives are AI-generated content written "in the style of" various theologians. They are not direct quotes or official positions from these individuals. The AI draws from publicly available teachings and writings to synthesize perspectives that reflect each theologian's approach.
